For today’s MRM we jump back across County Line Road and look in the Borough of Hatboro. Like many of the towns in our Quinn & Wilson market area, Hatboro is well known for its role in the Revolutionary War when Washington and his troops fought the British at what is now known as the Battle of Crooked Billet.
Speaking of Crooked Billet, Hatboro’s newest elementary school shares the name with the original battlefield. This school, finished in 2020 the building is an amazing facilty and serves all the Borough’s students. The students recognize the historical importance of the Battle every year and celebrate Crooked Billet Day on May 1st.
Real Estate in Hatboro is a great mix of single residences and twins/multi-unit homes. There are great starter homes as well as larger properties on more sizeable acreage.
