As a Real Estate Agent since February 2000, it has been a truly gratifying experience to help a great many people navigate through the process of successfully selling and/or purchasing a home. The perspective I bring from having lived in different parts of the country, has been helpful in understanding and relating to individuals from all different backgrounds. I was born in Maine and later moved to the Philadelphia area. I attended Calvin College in Michigan as a Business major, and then moved to California where I received a BS in Marketing from CSU, Stanislaus. Missing the change of seasons and the culture of the east coast, we eventually moved back to the Philadelphia area, initially living in the city, and then moving to Glenside.
The Glenside community and the surrounding area has been a wonderful place to raise a family. Our three children attended the local public schools, were involved in community activities, youth group, and sports clubs. Along with the rest of my family, I have also enjoyed being actively involved in the community, in the schools, and in our church. My husband, Scott Dirksen, is a mortgage consultant, and is an excellent source of information for me as I seek to advise my clients accurately.
What I’ve learned over the years, is to first listen well so that I can best understand the unique needs and concerns of the individual. It is only then that we can take the right steps to insure a successful transaction. I am also keenly aware of the need for on-going, consistent communication and attention to detail in order to continue to meet the needs of the client, and so that the client has a clear understanding of the many details that come with purchasing or selling a home. My goal is to find the right house for my buyer and/or the right buyer for my seller, and then insure that all terms and deadlines are met, so that the end result is a successful settlement that is as smooth and worry-free as possible. Seeing this happen is my greatest reward!
